I recently visited JJ Bean Coffee Roasters in North Vancouver, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the warm aroma of freshly brewed coffee and baked goods. The cafe had a cozy atmosphere with plenty of natural light, making it a comfortable place to relax or catch up with friends. I ordered a soy latte, which was rich and smooth, and paired it with a pumpkin apple muffin. The muffin was moist and flavorful, and I was pleased to find that it was vegan. They also had other vegan options available, like the Umami Mushroom Breakfast Wrap made with plant-based egg and roasted mushrooms, and the Frankie Goes To Bollywood Wrap featuring spiced cauliflower and chickpeas. It was great to see a variety of clearly labeled vegan choices. The staff were friendly and helpful, taking the time to answer my questions about the menu. The service was quick, and my order was prepared with care. Overall, my visit to JJ Bean Coffee Roasters was enjoyable and satisfying. A bright, airy, relaxing with some really beautiful and awesome architecture. A very interesting use of space with every bit of space used and lots of seating options. This store lifted my mood hugely after walking in from the grey, dreary ,misty drizzle that Vancouver is known for that just sucks the joy out of you. The staff were awesome , friendly, welcoming and patient with my stuttering and confusion ( old brain injury) The noise level was great Evan though it was packed, there was a hum and slight echo of people who were talking loudly , but you could tell that effort had been made to address and control the noise. The views of the North Shore Mountains from the floor to ceiling windows (20 feet high) were beautiful with them poking though the mist and clouds
Such a great location! Beautiful interior, two entrances (both fully accessible), views of the North Shore mountains. Great coffee, lots of seating, chill place to hang out.
This JJBeans is my favourite. It is decorated with vertical logs, it is like you are out in the woods there are also four cabin like tables! Coffee is good and staff are nice.

You can tell they take real pride in their craft. The staff are always friendly and genuinely seem to enjoy what they do, which makes a big difference. Plus, their baked goods are top-notch! Whether it’s a quick morning stop or a relaxed afternoon break, this place never disappoints. Highly recommend!

I go to JJ Beans all over the lower mainland when I can so I won’t comment on the food or coffee (hint: best muffins and my favorite coffee), but the layout of this location is super cool. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating making it a bit of what appears to be a community hub. Also, the staff at this location are really friendly (although that usually seems to be the case at other locations). Well done on this particular JJ!
